you’ve seen them all summer with us on #MONUMENTOUR, now go hear New Politics’ new song “Everywhere I Go (Kings and Queens)”
MY ROOM LOOKS RAD AS FUCK
There comes a point when you care a lot for someone, more than you do for anyone else…but eventually you begin to care less and less. You used to care about how they were, how their day was or anything like that, but after you realize they don’t care about you, that all slowly starts to fade away.
hey guys I know I haven’t been active on this blog lately but I just wanted to let you all know I met walk the moon finally, TWICE!!! The first time I met them, I saw saw them at gospel tour in LA and I tweeted Eli asking if I could possibly meet up with him and he followed/DM’d me and asked exactly where I was! after 15 minutes both him and nicholas came out to meet up with us and I was trying my hardest to not freak out. I hugged them both and they kept thanking me for everything and said it was so great to finally meet me! they asked me about college and school and then thanked me for the Christmas gifts I sent them in December but didn’t get until July. I hugged Eli again and then nicholas and almost started crying because I was so emotional and so grateful to finally be able to meet them and thank them for everything. I think nicholas knew I was going to start crying because I started shaking, so he immediately gripped me tighter and started rubbing my back. I pulled away and was like “I really can’t even thank you enough for everything you’ve ever said and done for me” and he looked me straight in the eye and was like “no Taylor, thank you.” and I almost started sobbing but I luckily held myself together long enough to have them sign a painting my wonderful friend Nicolle made for me, as well as my CD ((note the little elephant nicholas drew haha.)) they thanked me again for coming and we went our separate ways. I got to talk to them after the show too :) the second time I met them was Sunday at indie jam in San Diego. there was a meet & greet tent so I waited in line and got to take a picture with my friend alex. Eli recognized me and his face lit up and he was like “what’s up Taylor?” and hugged me. this was my first time meeting the entire band since the first time I only met Eli and nicholas. I hugged Eli and then sean, took the picture with my friend, hugged Kevin, and then went to hug nicholas. he recognized me too and was like hey!!! how are you????” and hugged me super tight. since they only had 15 minutes to meet a ton of people I unfortunately couldn’t talk to them that long but I got to give nicholas a shirt I got him as they were walking backstage :) I love walk the moon so much, they’re so important to me and have played such a huge role in my life. they’ve been nothing but gracious and loving towards me and all of their fans. I love them to death and can’t wait to see them again soon :)
